Hi everybody.
ok… i am planning to get myself 1.5" springs and put them on my stock shocks and i know that there is a possibility that my stock shocks could be broken. is there any way i could test them before getting the springs. A friend of mine got 1.5 and when he went to put them on they told him that the back shocks had to be replaced and he ran into some financial problems.
lowering at all will wear the stock shocks out eventually. with 1.5 maybe 4months or more.
bad thing is they might be dead already anyways. good thing is you might as well get performance shocks since theyre about the same cost. get adjustables even. kyb gr2 around 46$. kyb agx 79$. agx are worth it for the fronts.
You can compress the shock to see how quickly it rebounds. I guess you would need to compare that to a shock you know is good, but if it is really slow, the shock is dead.
