Texas Memories

Hello, I’m Kirk. While not a member, I was once, a long time ago a pretty active member. I joined originally in the 8m.com days, and hung around till 2001 as member RedGen2. I left and came back in 2003 but wasn’t very active, and ultimately sold my G2. I’ve owned three Integras. All of which were built on a college students budget.

My '93

My '92 (my favorite)

And my ugly, beater motor swapped '90. I named it Sarah after my bipolar ex GF. It would run and rape like a scalded ape, but was completely unstable in every other way possible.

Anyway, I was cleaning out the hard drive of an old computer when I found some pictures from my old Texas G2IC days, and wanted to share. I probably wont be buying another Acura or rejoining, but these pics brought a smile to my face and I wanted to share. This board/community meant tons to me back then. I made lots of friends, got lots of help and knowledge from here and I’m glad to see it still going strong.

STickers I had made for us…

I have tons more if anyones interested. Let me know if you see yourself, or your car.

Sup Kirk! I only remember Yellowteg from those pics! Not sure if I had met you on here, as I was on here near the end of the 8m days into the g2ic days…Anyhow, nice to see you again! (Honestly I only lurk on here every now and then)

It’s been a while, but I think I remember you from the Waco meet.

Damn man! Good memory! Yep, I drove the ratty '90 to the Waco meet. I have more pics from then, but it didnt seem like anyone was interested in our history. Hahaha. Im the guy in the green shirt in that group photo from waco. Is that your car my '90 is next to? I bought a front bumper from you I think back then, to convert the 90 to the 93 front end. Or something. Long time no see?
