Sup guys, I was introduced to this site by SABSurgery. I have own my DA9 for almost a year. I am currently in school for my Medical Degree. My plans are buying some good parts, but most of us are not sponsored. My parents & financial aid where not funded to fix my car, I did it on my own. Most of the parts I got I was lucky. Too come up on other times, I had to make some choices what more important… Before the motor blew my DA9 had 295,xxx miles, right after rod shot out of my blocks on my way to school which suck. But that was months ago. The car should be back up and running next week, before the EF vs. DA Meet. So I guess it won’t hurt to show off my car.
I had a 4 Door EF “Putt Putt” . It was clean, had a 1.6 ZC. This was ok. The car only HIDs 8k and a Panasonic deck.
Couple months later, I sold the EF and pick up a DA9 from a family friend for $1200 as is.
This was the First picture; I took right after I pick her up. On that same day I brought here to a meet the was held by a Friend. Well i see my can see that my car.
Then springs came along.
A couple days, later I join a Crew Called Stanced & Enhanced
lol ok well:ghetto: I had Blox springs which was good drop for the rears, but not for the front, here’s a side view. If you notice the fronts look a little high, i honestly did like it so i pick up some Generic Coils and put them in the Fronts only. SO my set-up is Coilovers in the fronts, and springs in the rear. I plan to just run all with coils and new shocks like the KYB’s with the adjustable dial.
With one of my DAs, I actually ran springs in the front and coilovers in the back. For some reason, the handling and ride was awesome.
Right people this i am on generic coils all-around, but i have the springs in the rears to not give it the bounce. Cause if i had generic in the rear my shock would of be blown, before the motor went out. I all so have ST sway bars i pick up for $100.00.
That’s strange, my ksport springs made my car sit opposite of how yours does. Back end was higher, so I put coil overs on the back and it bounced around like crazy, so then I put my springs back on and added ES RTA bushings and it’s perfect, and for some reason not as high as I remember it being.
Good start on your ride tho, lose those lug nuts and put the wheel caps back on, much cleaner IMO.
Car looks cool, but I think the oem lip looks way ether than the one u put…
Damn da vs ef meet is a long as drive for u if ur in sd. I live in Ventura and that’s 5 1/2 hr drive for me I can imagine u lol…
yea it’s a far drive, but when i had a E30 BMW91 i wasn’t able to go to Bimmerfest. So this time, i am able to go i am just wondering if SABsurgery and other G2ic members down to caravan.
Blox springs, gotcha. I have those on my brother’s Civic. You may have put them on backwards? If you want to go with sleeves, there’s always the GC/Koni setup, but there is also MeganRacing/Illumina setup too. I’ve been researching it and many people say they like it, especially for the money.
it’s on a budget it’s a really good way for you to you know have a great setup for your car um I basically thought of this. Didnt know others was doing the same.
HAHA from the first pics its for sure black but it must just be the lighting in the last set of pics. being a black teg makes even better if you ask me
At no point did I say his car was stanced. Chances are though, if you join a club with said title. I would say its safe to say its only a matter of time…
