Hey everyone. i joined a month or so back and after pouring over these forums all day and night, i decided it was finally time to make my own thread/mini build.first off, i am horriable writer so with that said sorry upfront for any bad grammer and or boredom that may come from reading this.im just gonna jump into it…
the car: 92 integra gsr #478.195k on body.
106k the freshly swapped b16a.i know sadly no b17.itr cams and ys1 tranny.dc headers.new t belt,wp,dizzyfuel p,have paper work for pretty much everything.but no receipt for what year cams. runs like a top.but wow there gears are short.will be getting full tune up and run through this weekend when i get paid.just for peace of mind.oh and that damn abs light.
no name coilovers that really need to go.lca’s as well as a asr subframe.the ride is really bad.bounces,squeeks and im scared to even go over a dip in the road at over 10mph.thats the first thing that needs a upgrade.open to suggestion please.
the interior is really nice and original.no rips or tears and even the cup holder/coin tray was there in the center console.plans to a black suede or something like it headliner.with gsr leathers.
so anyway just wanted to introduce myself finally to g2 and thanks for reading.more pics to come hopefully if i get the cam cord i need.

cracked my headgasket in between cylinders 3 and 4. yesterday.thank god my mech is only chargin 400 to fix it.REALLY hoping my head isnt warped and thats what cause the crack.day before i was gettin armrest,ben og c bar,and some ambers.FML.
atleast comp test came out really good.mech says the itr cams and more are definetly in this head.so i guess a small plus…
why dont u replace the head gasket urself its not that hard, but sorry to hear bud. i think i gotta replace mine soon too.

any recom on a nice daily suspension setup? thats under $600. i guess a nice budget/cornering daily is what i would be lookin for.
teg is back!! no real updates just that i put on some amber bumper lenses.buyin a type r boot,and hopefully gonna give some guy $100 to change out 1 pieces with me since my tabs are all broke.in two weeks im gonna buy my suspension setup.any advice? i got $500 to spend.
yellow- in two weeks when i get my new struts you can come get my old ones.i beleive two are tokico whites.
if $500 is your limit, go with KSports or something. I don’t like them personally, but they’re about the only “fair” proper coilover setups in that price range. I’d say save up for some Tein Basics or something. Save up and do it once
Double, or triple your budget, and look at how many truly NICE setups you’ll have to choose from. I say keep saving, brother. DB2 looks stunning. I like the gold mesh wheels. Look quite nice.
i would love to keep saving and get the really nice stuff but this suspension is soo bad it needs to go now.i was leaning towards tokico blues with there springs.but i was doin some research and they seem to blow out frequently.are k-sports more reliable than blues?

I’ve never used them on mine, personally. But I’ve ridden in a few cars that had K-Sports. They weren’t BAD. could have been better. But, for the price, I’d say they are the way to go.
As far as durability, again, I can’t say personally. I’m just basing my opinion on them from the experience I had as a passenger in a Civic equipped with them.
The red/gold theme looks sick bro, I’m diggin it.
As far as suspension recomendations… for that price range Id roll with some Skunk2 Pro-S, or even the KSport ones mentioned. $500 is really a low budget. As said something in the 1k range would get you something much more worth while.

A $500 buget for coilevers is no where near enough, ride out your crappy suspension for another couple months and save up for something decent.
little update.just picked up momo quick release setup with some cheezy type r wheel.and front strut bar.and on thurday im gettin 2 Mint gsr leather seats,type r boot,MINT oem floor mats,and 92-93 mudflaps. the stuff im getting on thursday guy is only chargin me 145 for!! woooo woooo.
gonna ask about his mint black carpet to.prolly get it for 20 or so.if anyone is intrested mine in nice so iwont need the seconed one.
