OK here is the day in the life of a DA build. My relationship with Honda’s started when i was 18. I sold my first car witch was a 1990 GMC s15 convertible top. I pick up my first Honda, witch was a 1991 hatch with a LS motor and tran project. the kid promised that there was everything in the car to swap the motor and promised to give me all the things is was missing seats and windshield, ect. needless to say he lied. but i had a motor and brand new suspension for 500 bucks not a bad deal if the motor runs well. So i end up finding a 1991 crx with an LS swap with a blown motor. Well the kid took forever to give the title and it being a $700 buy to a $500 buy for my wait. but lost interested in the build due to the body being hammer. So i picked up an clean 1991 crx for a $1000 and with a lot of extras and a blown zc swap swapped the ls motor and suspension over. so the motor runs and runs good so not a bad by for 500.
The da came into my life about a year and a half ago. I got it from my buddy who ran into some money problems. I picked up his 93 DA is in crap condition. B-18 block with B-20 head and low gear ratio LS trans, burned oil bad lol don’t ask lol. I ended up picking up two more DAs. The one i picked up to build. It was a southern car with only 63k on the body power windows and moon roof for 300 the down fall is it was in a front end crash. i picked up the 3rd one so i can build the sec one. It was a rot box but an older laid bought it brand new in 93 the motor didn’t smoke and ran good.
So the one i picked up from my buddy was hacked up bad the motor and tran separated one day and i stripped the splines on the clutch disc and the input shaft. Well this gave me a reason to rebuild the motor. All new everything and put a newly machined B-18 head. ok to make a long story short I took the motor out other dd and put it into the project DA.
The set up i am ruining with now is a 93 DA with 63k on it with LS motor and tran fully rebuild, hasport motor mounts, skunk2- intake manifold, lowering springs, rear lower control arms. All new brakes and calipers, wheel bearings, lower ball joints, inter and outer tie rods. i put a custom 6 point roll cage and i made a custom front lower cross member. i am in the process of swapping out the power steering rack to a manual rack. my future plans are to swap a K-ser and a paint job. well here is some pics of the journey.

i click on “go advanced” then click on “upload/ edit images” then when i choice my pic it always says error when i hit up load pic… ugh frustrating!!!
lol nah that dont ever work, gotta use something like photobucket or flickr. upload the pic in there and then copy and paste the IMG code link
