Just the Honda Dealer.
man… this is the true definition of clean. my goodness…
Able to get them in Captiva Blue Pearl? or do they require painting prior to install? Wanting to get a new OEM front bumper, as there are some minor flaws on mine that I’d rather not mess with fixing. I’d rather just replace it, honestly. I like having nice, new, parts. Debating on which lip I want to get this spring. The JDP OE1 or OE2. Ready to rock something new, other than my current OEM lip.
Any updates on the ride, Mike?
edit.
never mind. I saw the last post on the previous page. Bay looks awesome! Can’t wait to see everything in there.
Jake
I just updated today, didn’t you see? The bumpers come unpainted but as long as you have to get it painted, maybe in your case just fixing your old bumper would be a better option.
Eh, there’s a few “behind the scenes” issues with the bumper that I don’t really want to fix. Some of the lip mounting tabs are broken due to the wreck I was in a few years back, and a few other various things that bother me. It’s not a priority, but it’s something I’d like to get done at some point.
So a few updates with both cars.
Went to a friends shop www.raceinspired.com to pick up a few parts starting with rotors and brakes for the TSX
Along with some stuff for the DA
And I picked up some lug nuts for the NT03s (TSX)
Along with some lugs for the Regas (DA)
Damm brand new oe bumpers, didn’t think you could get.them at the dealer no more. I’m going to try to get one today! This is one of my favorite builds on g2ic!
Thanks man
You find those bumpers?
I found some but i wanted to come and ask how much you paid for yours. The local dealership close to me wants Around $700 after tax for the front and rear bumpers
Herb, list price (depending on year and whether it’s front or rear) is about $300 per bumper. Unfortunately almost every dealership I know of marks up their parts OVER list price. I just checked Acura Automotive Parts and surprisingly their shipping charges aren’t that much - it would be $45 to ship two bumpers to CA. Grand total for two bumpers, shipping, and their handling fee was $495. Not too shabby.
Colin it’s crazy how they mark the price up, the link you posted has the best price. They only want $19.50 with fed ex to deliver them to PA making the total $521 shipped. I thought the oemacuraparts site was going to have the best price because the front and rear bumpers were $477, but the shipping they offered which was fed ex (same shipping as the link you posted) but OEMACURAPARTS wants $278.49 to ship the bumpers bringing the total to over $755 lol
wow im lucky then i paid $15 for a brand new front bumper a couple months ago.
Herb, I don’t even bother looking at the other parts sites anymore. I started using Honda/Acura Automotive years and years ago and they are still my favorite. Not sure if prices are any different from the others, but their site is the easiest to navigate. I use it all the time to cross-reference part numbers and look at diagrams…etc. I just wish the Honda version still used the real part numbers. Now it’s just another random number, so it’s harder now to cross-reference parts.
Lovin all the BNIB bumper and interior parts! Keep up the good work.
I don’t know how that company is only charging $45 for shipping, they are going to be taking a huge loss. See if you can’t find a friend of a friend that can get you a Honda dealer discount. Anyone that owns a shop that has a “vendor account” with the local honda parts place.
that is nice to know. Im in the same boat as herb. I have about a month or less to find front and rear bumpers before the car gets painted.
That is probably about what I paid. I think I was in the $450 range after I was done.
Yeah, I was blown away by the shipping price too. Maybe they loose money on items like that but make a killing with their minimum shipping charge of $10 whenever anyone orders only a few bucks worth of gaskets or something small like that.
Better then $278.49 for shipping from oemacuraparts lmao
