The JeLLie-mobile is back in business.

very nice… i can see why you want to clean the fender linings and harnesses/adapters, engine bay etc… but why spend so much time touching up the paint when you are going to get it repainted…? and from the pics alone, i think if you do a good enough job on the touchups, you wont even need a paintjob…

as for the cf hood… it is a gel coat and not a clear coat, correct? you probably already know, but in the small percentage that you don’t, grab some meguiars gel coat sealant/wax.

your car is clean …i have a question to ask where the heck do u get your oem parts and do u have any item numbers for the floormats?

BlueG2 - I am just that anal. I wanted to wait until most of the project is done to get the car repainted, but I don’t want it to look like crap in the mean time. I can hang with the touchups for now, but they aren’t a permanent fix. With my ocd they will have to be fixed. I am also going to paint the hood and trunk, but you will be able to see the CF inside the window of the hatch.

1nokturnal - I order my OEM parts from the sponsor of this board, OEMAcuraParts.com I don’t have the part # for the floor mats. Those are actually aftermarket mats, ordered back in the day when dstuning was a sponsor on the board, and back before honda popped them with using the “Integra” print on the mat.

Here are the mats without any stitching names - http://www.dstuning.com/floor_mats_for_90_93_acura_integra_vehicles.asp?cat=33

Clean car man… being meticulous and anal will definitely pay off. There’s nothing like haveing a real CLEAN ride.

As far as the cf hood… its not Gel Coat or Clear Coat… its Epoxy Resin. It is somewhat similar to a clear Gel Coat, but technically not the same. It is much harder than a traditional paint/clear coat.

Liking the pics Mike…

AR

Looks good Mike! Not sure how I missed this the first time around, and VERY jealous of those headlights. Are you the one that ended up with that set which was for sale a few years back? Or is this a different set? Also, I’m sending you an email…

Hey Colin, this is the only set I have had, must have been someone else.

Let the tear down stage begin!

A couple other pieces I have acquired, for your viewing pleasure.

And for what reason are we tearing down Mike?

J.

To allow for new stuff of course.

Can I have all your old stuff? :cross:

this thread really makes me want to buy a g2 again… a project car… if i had my own garage, and not underground parking, i just might spend a couple gs on a project car… it is just as exciting having the boxes of goodies laying around unopened… knowing you will have it all on the car one day…

cant wait to see it all done!

I got dibs, Neil.

We shall duel at sundown.

Mike, glad to see the stuff is coming along great. Haven’t heard from you in a bit. I STILL love the I love Old Skool sticker you sent me  I had a few guys at the East Coast meet ask me about where to get them, I told them about your site. Hopefully, I made you a little bit of lettuce

I’ll be grabbing a shirt here soon, I hope. Gotta replace the axles on my car this weekend.

Thanks guys, tore a few things out today. I will have a time lapse video up later tonight, but right now we are headed out to shoot the DA of the person who helped me today. Believe me when I say you guys are gonna want to see this.

can’t wait!

Hmmmm…
J.

To hold you over until all the images from the time lapse finish, and get the video up. And finish editing the photoshoot pictures.

Here is the car that I did a small shoot on later that night.

Okay one more, because I forgot to shoot this small set in RAW.
