I know of a good candidate, this guy goes to school full time. He is really struggling with life he needs a car to get by taking the bus in the HOT AZ HEAT its not the deal. I will inform of this give away. He loves das as much I do!

I agree! Ydrinkbargs, poor guy had his da stolen twice impounded and had to sell both of his da shells.
I’m a 24 years old. Full time student working side jobs just to get by. Always carpooling and helping other any way I can. Been going thru a rough patch in life. I love the da/db chassis more then any other vehicle out there. Every chance I get I’m willing to put others before myself and help if I can. Cars are my life but being a broke student and after losing my first da. Every chance I’ve had to save a da I’ve taken it.
Even through my tough times I’ve managed to save and rehome a few that were on their way to a crusher. If I am chosen. This will help me out more then anyone could ever know. I’ve been thrown thru the ringer and back but always amazed to keep. Positive attitude through it all. My old da got stolen twice and having to pay to get it out of impound both times. And then this last time I couldn’t afford to get it out for the 3rd time
I had so much blood sweat and tears and money in that car…
So, things are taking a lame turn with my finances and basically I’ll be out of any kind of income for 2 months between summer and fall.
As such I decided I’m just going to get rid of the sub, and keep the DA. It sucks, and those guys were awesome candidates, and I would just go ahead with it but I can’t be so charitable that I end up broke as hell. The sub is a little more costly for DD expenses and it’s just smarter for me to keep the DA.
Ugh, and the laptop just broke itself.
Maybe when things are right again, I will pick this back up. But for right now I need to get my priorities straight before I do something like this.
Hope I don’t look like too much of a dick, After hearing those last two stories I’d almost want to sell my cars and take the bus to help them out!
Maybe once I pour more money into it, it’ll be even better… Whenever I see nice DA’s on CL they go for pennies, no matter what. So I likely see myself picking this up where I left off.
ydrinkbargs, keep ya head up man. I’ve been there in the hot, humid south with a no a/c apartment and no car, broke, watching people drive happy. Things pick up man.
no worries, I don’t see it as a dick move. And yeah humid I can do. This desert dry heat on the other hand is another story. When I first moved out here my ac went out and never got it fixed in the car before losing it for good.
