The Keisuke DA give-away

Ok guys, so mods I just want to first say that if this post is not acceptable in this area please move and not delete it.

So I will be catching a bus up to Seattle and purchasing a GC8 Subaru, I’ve realized I’m kind of done with the DA and the happiest I was, was when I had a subbie so I’m going back to it.

As such, the question remains what the hell to do with my DA.

Simply put, I want to give it to someone. No games, no BS, just straight title signing. I don’t want to deal with CL and I really would like to help someone out.

If you guys know any one who is going through a rough time right now, doesn’t have a car, and absolutely LOVES DA’s, has no drug habbits, post a reply with a pic and a little bit about yourself/them. Would like someone 18-25.

This isn’t some beater DA; it’s not a show-car but there is no much blood, sweat, and money from me and my friends that it’s been well taken care of.

I really don’t care if it’s guy/girl/ or whoever. I’ve done this before and it’s pretty cool. I grew up pretty poor and I loved cars, the two never mixed and living in apartments made that more impossible as well.

I have some pictures attached. The mods list and work list is long. I will update it later. I just want to see what happens with this thread.

Please spread the word

I am located in Portland, OR.

That’s an awesome thing to do, good karma points for you sir! If I knew someone in the area who was in need I’d definitely nominate 'em.

Wow, the world needs more people like this. That’s very generous!

Just gotta raise that Karma  I’ll be checking back every once in a while. Please just reply if you think someone could be helped out :hi5:

If nothing comes of it, I’m just gonna drive right up to a homeless guy and give it away lol.

Never seen this done before…You have a good heart. Hope it goes to a good a deserving home.

That is awesome! I live in the Cleveland area, no shortage of people down on their luck. I’ll put the word out, if I find a worthy candidate for you, I’d be willing to fly there and drive it back on my dime.

My nephew is pretty down on his luck lately. He is only 19. He had a DA but let a friend drive it who promptly rolled it. Just finished his final chemotherapy to treat his Hodgkins Lymphoma he was diagnosed with last year. No “bad” drug habbits. He does smoke MJ but a lot of that is to deal with his disease. He’s a good kid with a good heart, has made his share of bad decisions mainly because his mom and dad were kind of f’ed up (no real role model). Just dealt a lot of bad cards. He lives in Washougal, WA.

^ Gets my vote. Sounds like a perfect candidate…

(Plus he’s got Uncle-Guru in the family to help him with questions, maintenance…etc)

This is interesting. I’ll post this to the Facebook page. Good luck with your choice, sir.

One of the best guys on the forum puts him up, you know it’s the one to go with. Hands down my vote for what little it’s likely worth.

+5 sounds like you found a good candidate. Awesome plan man.

I am copying and pasting this directly from my facebook post.

Kross Theriot I feel that i would be a worthy candidate.
This past few months have been nothing short of hell for me. As you can see from the go fund me link. I had two vehicles destroyed simultaneously due to mother nature (one of which i have owned since 2004) I have received no aid from FEMA and nothing substantial enough from gofundme to make any progress in the “new” transportation department.

The second link shows an old DA9 i used to own before selling it. I purchased it for a friend of mine who had his car totaled from a drunk. I purchased the car in non running condition and restored it in less than a weeks time. Sadly i dont have any before images but it was sold because the friends father passed away and he was willed his fathers truck. So in the end I had to get rid of the car because I already had one and could not afford the insurance.

Later down the road I did eventually purchase another integra ( a first generation ) which was the other vehicle lost in the Texas 2015 floods.

I am extremely passionate about preserving hondas historical vehicles and without question the integra was VITAL in ACURAS early foundation ( which is sad that they discontinued it all together now along with manual transmissions ) because it did make up a very large portion of their sales due to the affordable costs. The Legends were ahead of their time however given Acuras freshness to the consumer marked, spending more than a BMW or Merc of the same class on “The New Guy” didnt make sense to old faithfuls. Sorry to go on a tangent but true enthusiasts can relate. grin emoticon

Regardless I would love a shot at preserving this vehicle. I would honestly leave it in its current state and condition and enjoy it as it sits (of course i would find a matching fender and driver seat)! Currently i am a full time student and this vehicle would be essential to me come this August when the Fall 2015 semester begins
