I do like the run and gun some times… but now it’s just retarded with the size of these maps… unless you totally camp it’s rare to string together a decent kill streak…
I should be on BF3 for the majority of the day on Thursday. Wife’s doing some event with the children so I’ll be shootin’ peeps allllllll dayyyyyy. 
Just ranked up to level 40, tonight. No boosting, no cheating. Not a HUGE accomplishment, by any means. But, it’s nice knowing that I’ve made good, honest, progress in just a few weeks. My goal is to be level 45 by the end of the week, and level 145 (Highest rank you can achieve) by summer.
Had some AMAZING rounds, tonight. Lots of fun. Out of the, probably, 20 Conquest matches I played tonight, I probably only lost 3-4, and MVP’d at least 7-8 of them. Made a lot of progress in just about 4 hours playing…

lever 40 is nuts.i think im only 16-17.spent most of my time tryin to get the mortar unlocked(support) only to find that no one spots so its pretty much useless.

captainda9, i saw the invite after the fact, lol. i was idle for a while (was in the shower, left the ps3 on) when i got back downstairs, i played a few rounds. it wasn’t until my friend sent me an invite that i noticed you had sent me 2 almost an hour beforehand. sorry about that. we’ll have to make it happen tomorrow. I’ll probably be on most of the day

Man, I had some shit rounds, tonight. :down: Went in the negatives most of the matches. My worst round, 11-24 Not sure what the hell was going on, but for some reason, my bullets weren’t doing shit, and today seems to be the day to equip the USAS12 Shotgun with 12g Frag Rounds (basically a damn semi-auto grenade launcher). Damn noobs…

Is there any benefit to running around with your knife out over just using it as melee? I just bound the melee to one of my mouse buttons and really never have to scroll down to my knife.
you run a bit faster with just the knife… but i hardly do it…
Not sure if it’ll let you stab faster… never tried that.
I find vimeo actually looks better then youtube overall these days…

I don’t know that I will be any good at bf3, but I was okay in the MW series. Got a new ps3 today, old one took a dump. I should be on during some of the up coming days. Probably won’t be on too much because of the holidays and it being crunch time for my DA.
fully switching to knife lets you slash faster (frontal). I dont know if it’ll allow you to perform stealth kills though…i think it does.
the quick melee takes a significantly longer time in between swipes.
edit: btw i hate the recon class. It’s pretty useless.
