clean azz 4dr ron… i kno its gonna be looking even sicker
wow bro…I just gave you them shits, and you already put them shits in…you’re the fucking man, how comfy are they?
they are madddd comfy j0o!..lol way better than my old ones with ripped up seats
son of a bish that joint is… whew looking good man, glad to see your back on the comeup. when did you get those rims, had them sitting up?? A++++++ on everything and the seats.
Not really a picture of a car, but it is going into my DB1, along with a 5speed tranny. This has been my weekend project after months of parts whoring and crap. Finally nice to start putting everything together.
clean the block br. so far is looking good
hehe, that is supposedly cleaned. The machine shop didn’t do as good of a job as I was expecting. It definately is cleaner than before it went in though.
frozenrice Block lookin very good…
Jus got my db1 back from paint (pix soon to follow) Champ White. I love the way it stands out here (in T.O.) there are a lot of frost white Teg but only 1 Champ white!!!
thats the best they did at cleeaning??? wtf my ls block looks cleaner than that one. by alot lol
yeah, but IMO it doesn’t matter that they didn’t get it perfectly clean. “All go no show”. Keep in mind the car that the motor came out of sat in a field and then somebody’s garage for a few years before it got pulled hence the rust on some of the parts.
db1love, here’s the link - it’s basically the Helms manual but it’s at least broken down into sections. IIRC, the section for the manual belts is under BODY.
frozenrice: I thought it was a link of where I could buy some manual seatbelts. I was thinking about buying some
haha, I just realized that I didn’t post the link either…

neways, killahteg was wondering how they’re installed so I posted up that link for him so he can find out where the anchor points are. sorry man. If I come across any db1s parting out here I’ll let you guys know. If I’d been thinking, I could have snagged 3-4 sets at the junkyard a few months ago, but the cars are gone now.
frozenrice- i am interested in doing the seatbelt conversion as well. after looking at the diagram, we all DB1s have the same holes for the bolts? i have held off for so long in purchasing this. please help…
I’ll be the first to admit that I haven’t got a clue as to what’s involved with converting to manual belts. Since my car already came with them, it’s something I’ve never had to think about. I just happened to know of a link to send to killahteg to help him out. But for sure if I come across any at the junkyard, you guys will be the first to know.
Well i haven’t taken pics lately, but here’s another pic to keep the thread going. And yes i know the lip is broken. It’s the 3rd one i’ve been through, and haven’t had the time to replace it.
i’m thinkin of changing my wheels…
do you guys think 17’s are too big…?? I can’t make up my mind… These are the wheels i’m thinking of getting. Not sure if i want to go through or not…
Photoshopped:
these are it here…:
anyone have any pics of these wheels on a DA?
To be completely honest… 17s fit almost perfectly on the DB’s IMHO.
16"=DA9 Perfect fit… 17"=DB1 perfect fit.
Really depends on the drop though… Shhh, Dont tell anyone… When i go 5 Lug (eventually) im going to get these
Only problem, They come in 16" but only 4x100… The 5x114.3’s are 17" so… When i go 5 lug (eventually) ill be rolling on 17s
Killahteg,
Cars looking real good. How hard was it to get the seats in? Is it a matter of only switching the rails or what?
theres nothing like a teg slamed on 15s… anything bigger than 15s is overkill…
the conversion wasnt hard at all. just some welding and some brains. seats are only held by 3 bolts rye now. im gonna find a way to make all 4 work.
