here we go… an oldie but goodie (for the calendar thing)
^nice, but I know you have some more shots than that. I specifically remember you had one underneath a bridge or something with an interesting background. Anyways, hang tight for the submission thread and submit them then. All hell will break loose if I don’t at least use a picture from there - if you know what I mean.
I might have found a decent deal on some side skirts, but I’m not 100% sure if I want them. I mean, I like them but not sure of the vent holes :
Do you think I should get them?
^^Those are the ones that I got.
Get the ones for a 94-95 Accord.
Well, mine came with end caps on the front, so when I cut off 2 inches, I just put the cap on, and it looks clean.
I got a set for a 92-95 Civic HB also, but they came up a 1/4 inch short.
My nephew had some different sideskirts on his EG and they fit on mine perfectly, but I guess these ones didn’t do so well.
Thanks stokeless, looks good. Do you have any other pictures of them installled? The guy does have some 94-97 Accord M3 skirts for even cheaper, but I don’t like the way they look at all. I prefer these ones, but the ones that he has are for the 96-00 Civic (EK) but I’m pretty sure they’ll fit. Killahteg at one time had a set of OEM EK skirts on his.
OK, here it goes.
I got the install pics too, but they’re on my other pc, so I had to go take some for you.
Top rear.
Rear side.
Front Top.
Front side.
And full side.
Hope this helps.
And here’s a shot of of my driveway.
would u be able to bondo that “speed hole” shut on the side skirt? like maybe plastic weld the hole and then bondo and paint? where did u order the skirts from anyways?
I suppose you could if you wanted to go through all that trouble.
These are made of thick ABS plastic, and are pretty durable compared to my Type-R lip.
I picked them up from Ebay a while back for a pretty good deal.
Let me see.
2 g2 Type-R lips (90-91 and 92-93)
1 Accord Spoon lip
2 sets of sideskirts (Accord and Civic HB)
1 Accord rear lip
All for $400 shipped.
I didn’t mean for you to go through all that trouble so thanks for taking the pics. I think I’m gonna pick them up. Install looks pretty straight forward. Do you have problems scraping over bumps (or driveways) with them on?
No scraping.
The underbody still sits lower than the sideskirts.
(you can still see the jacking point)
My install was pretty simple, I cut 2 inches from the front then, then 3M’d the lower door jam, slapped the cap on, then a few screws.
You can see the jacking mount on the right.
could u post some more pics of the car??..from different angles? i just wanna see how big the skirts really are. thanks
bump for some pics.
a pic of my car as of today. wintermode. lol
Your winter mode looks better then my summer mode.
Something I did over the holiday break (not the armrest). Good riddance to those ugly seat covers (covering the side bolster hole).
before (I thought I had more pictures than this):
after:
those are 92 seats right? (making an educated guess)
seats are mint… looks wayyyyy better without the seat covers.
I hope those are winter mode floormats.
And lose the steering wheel cover also.
Mine is white leather, but it gets hella dirty. I think I’m gonna get a black one next. Although $40 is a grip.
I wish my interior was black and gray. LOL.
I hated my armrest though. I use to elbow it all the time shifting, but I see you got an Auto.
You do keep your car clean though.
They are from a 92. I got all the door panels and rear seats as well to match. I never liked the seat covers, but it was either those or the hole in the side bolster and the burn marks on the seat.
I originally checked the donor car out to see if the fabric matched. I was going to take one of the seats to reuse the fabric. The interior was in mint condition but didn’t match. The guy ended up talking me into all the seats and panels, one rear door and the front door speaker “pods” for a smoking deal, I couldn’t refuse.
While I was at it, I jacked a pair of Alpine component speakers from my beater truck and installed them in the Teg. I replaced the heater control so the buttons work now. I also repaired (more like cleaned) the gear selector switch so that I can get my keys out when it’s cold out (common auto tranny problem). I’ll be switching to 5 speed soon.
Those are winter mats and the steering wheel cover is just to thicken the rim a bit. I find the stock wheel a bit thin. I’m just waiting to find the right aftermarket steering wheel.
Stokeless, what colour is your interior?
My interior color is blue.
Everything is still mint, but I need to do some cleaning, LOL. (DirtyRice)
I had a chance to swap out my interior to black, but it just seemed like such a pain in the ass to swap my dash, door panels, interior panels, carpet, seats, rear speaker panel, etc, etc.
Here’s an old pic of my interior.
Interested in a set of blue manual belts? Comes with all the trim pieces.
Nah, I like my automatic belts. LOL.
I dont know why some people hate them anyways.
The only people that hate them in my ride is new passengers. :nana:
Thankx for the offer though.
