still looking 4 a DB1 exhaust guys…also BTW i was a DC sports exhaust any1 know the size of this? 2" 2.5"?..& it looked like it would fit a DB1 but was for a DA9…what would i have to add to it? the extension piece?
Extend the mid-pipe or make a extension.
Or get a Thermal R&D catback.

Some of the lines were done wrong so they’ve been redone since the pictures were taken. On that note, it will be going in next month along with a 5 speed.
To Alan and all the DB guys:
Some of you guys know that I’m going to be replicating the OEM Optional Kit. But the thing is, Im planning on doing it for DBs as well. Heres the problem. Since the 2 extra doors is present, the skirts are going to be “different” if you guys know what I mean. on the 2 door, the skirts wraps up into the quarter panel, now for you guys, it wont be able to do that. How would you feel if it just went along with the bottom panel?
I think most of us can accept that fact that they will be a bit different than the DA (that is just my opinion though). It’s not like we have much choice to begin with. I think as long as you cap it off cleanly it’d be good. Thanks for thinking of us.

stockless i here ya. its still fucking like 23 degrees on a saturday/friday night! so not many people are out. but we still try to get out LOL all of us have our heaters on woot!
& also about the db1 exhaust…could i just get an extendable test pipe? i’ve seen them. my friend has 1 on his civic sedan. what he did is take it off his rex project & cut it. then we went to autozone & got a pipe. we then extended it to his liking & clamped it together, then hooked up everything.

It was the one going to the FITV from the IM next to the medium size hose.
It had a damn pin size hole on the bottom. Hopefully that’s the only one too.
My temp gauge shot all the way to “H” over the weekend. I wasn’t paying attention until I realized that I was freezing with no heat, lol.
slackerintegra, I suppose you could use a test pipe.
Once you get the cat-back, just put it up for a test fit, and see what you’ll need to do.
I went catless before, It was too loud for my liking.

Yes.
I had my exhaust made for turbo, but plans changed.
I had 2.5" piping, resonator, N1 style muffler.
It used to roar, crack, pop, backfire, etc. So I started stuff the muffler with steel brush pads.
Then I just got tired of it, and made myself a whole new system.
I put a g3 cat on, new 2.25 " mid-pipe w/ resonator, and another N1 style exhaust.
Sounds perfect to me now.
