Those with the ITR Intake Manifold..please look!!

I need some suggestions on how you ran your brake booster hose, pcv, and vacuum lines nice and cleanly?? I pretty much know which lines go where. Just looking at which way is best to keep everything clean.

JETSPD1477: Elmer, you recommended I take out one of those solenoids near the map sensor. I was looking at the one you said to remove and it has wires coming out of it. Should I just cut those off and if I do will it give me a CEL? Let me know. Thanks.

It will not give you a CEL sir… . guaranteed.

Leo,

This is how I ran mine. You can see all the vacuum in the picture. The solenoid closer to the PASSENGER side is disconnected. It doesn’t do anything. The bottom nipple on the purge control solenoid is connected to the large straight nipple on the back of the intake manifold, and the side nipple of that same solenoid goes to the Charcoal canister. Click the links and then click the image for a bigger picture… (*Edited after Elmer found my mistake)

This is what I did for the brake booster hose. Notice where the “coupler” is now. I simply opened up the little black bracket a bit to accept the plastic coupler instead of the hose.

This is the vacuum to the EVAP solenoid.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hey Dan, isnt’ the solenoid closest to the driver’s side the EVAP solenoid? The bottom of the solenoid is your vacuum source and from the top nipple leads to the charcoal canister?

OOOPPPS!!! Elmer, you’re right. I can’t even describe my own picture. DOH! If you look at my picture in the link, it shows exactly what Elmer said. It’s been one of those days. :stuck_out_tongue:
