my teg accelerates even when i let go of the accelerator. i looked into the throttle body, turned the car on and i hear a hissing sound on the bottom of the flap. im pretty sure air is getting in, how do i fix it?
Looks for a crack on the IM. Also make sure your throttle cable isnt over-tightened. Did u try adjusting the idle adjustment screw?
After a race, my car started idling @ 4k and it turned out that a sticker on the inside of my intake got sucked up and got stuck on the butterfly, not letting it close all the way. But you already inspected your TB so i’m just rambling cuz i’m lonely :argh:

i see two of them on the throttle body, but its in a wierd position that i cant get to. i have barely any tools at my house. i know the flap isnt closed all the way, it looks closed but i can hear air getting in slowly (makes hissing noise), but i will try to adjust the screws the best i can.
