Throttle cable problem

Alrights so i have A 93 db2 gsr with a 94 b18c1 gsr swap… Now my throttle cable broke so i got one off a 92 integra ls and it seems to be longer from where it mounts to the bracket on the throttle body and doesnt work… What cable do i need to use??

The same one that was previously working…?

If it was a DB2 GSR unit, get one of those… if it was a B18C cable, get one of those.

Thats the thing i dont know what throttle cable i had

As far as i knew, if you’re using a 94+ intake manifold, you need to use that same throttle cable.

This.

Because of the positioning of the throttle body, and the significant difference in shapes between the throttle cable brackets, it is necessary to use a B18C1 throttle cable. I have a JDM B18C (GS-R equivalent) in my DA, and when I did the swap, I ordered a new OEM DC2 GS-R throttle cable. Fits, and works, perfect.

This is the part number you need to order:
17910-ST7-L01

Damn GSRs…

thanks!

yeah but he is going to need a b16 cable since his intake is higher than the dual stage gsr intake manifold.
you can go to honda and buy a throttle cable for like $20 or less.

nvm

He has a B18C1 motor… he needs a '94+ GSR cable.

A B18C GSR cable might not mount up correctly…The B17a intake manifold is the same as a B16 intake manifold… I’d use one of those cables.
