last night i took my aem cold air off the throttle body to clean the inside with new STP throttle body and air intake cleaner which did a good job, so when i put everything back together correctly i noticed a very high idle around 1800rpms so i checked everything and didnt see anything,after a while of thinking and looking around i pushed back the throttle cable and the idle went back to normal, what can i do to solve this, use wd40 or something?..everytime im in the car and just pull back the gas pedal it goes to normal, then when i rev up it stays and doesnt go back down :shock:
Take your CAI back off and look inside the TB and make sure theres nothing in there around the plate that would keep it open a little.
