ok so im sitting really low on some d2 coilovers with no camber kit, 15"rims. I’ve replaced my axles like 2 or 3 times and it keeps happening. everytime i turn to the right (feels perfectly fine turning to the left) i have a thumping in the floor and sometimes it turns into a crazy shaking. I was thinking maybe it’s my wheel bearings are bad??? i really have no idea, ive replaced my motor mounts except for the one all the way in the back that’s realy hard to get to and ive got brand new axles…
my moms honda crv had a similar problem but not quite as pronounced as yours. her solution was that the differential was way out of adjustment and would cause a thumping noise/vibration while turning. but since you have no camber kit and a really dumped car i’m suspecting that the tires may be rubbing. is there weird wear along the inside of the front tires?
bearing could be a likely culprit…
cant tell of weird wearing right now tires are fresh and ive only had the coilovers for a few months… im gonna take it to NTB tomorrow to see what they say…
check your lug nuts, are they tight? I had that same problem when I lowered my car and they were loose on the drivers side front.
ya lugnuts are good, the guy at NTB said my drivers side axle had slipped out of the half shaft a little probably from before i had my motor mounts and my tranny was shaking a lot he said all i have to do is push it back in and i should be fine… he also said my alignment was pretty close and i didnt need to worry about it.
thats good it was the axle cause differential labor charges suck!!!
