Ok I changed my inner tierod/rack n pinion boot and when it came to putting the outer tie rod back on I forgot how many revolutions I turned. Is this bad or good. And now my steering wheel is crooked and it goes to the left. That was a few months ago. Now i just try to make it straight again bit I think I made it worst. Is there anyway you have to put them on like oem specs or so. Now I’m planning to take both sides off and try to make em as straight as possible. Idk
Get a proper alignment?
If you take one off and it takes 13-revolutions to get off, you need to put the new one on the same amount. Even then, your alignment can be off. But having a shop align the vehicle will be the best bet of getting everything taken care of.
As stated, get an alignment.
You can’t eyeball suspension settings/specs.
Ok so it is 13 revolutions each side. Imma do that to both sides.
So I can actually put them anyway how I want it than the alignment shop will just align with no probs.
Ok. Thanks
I didn’t say that it DOES take 13 revolutions… I said IF it takes 13 revolutions to get of off, the new one needs to go on the same amount. And even then you can have problems.
Get an alignment.
Oh…lol…I havnt done it. I guess I’ll hit up the wheel alignment shop
You actually need to get it done asap unless you love having uneven tire wear. Out of spec toe kills tires like crazy… do it now!

Whats funny is both mine are 13 and I took them off over a year ago. Unscrewed em and was like Thirteeeen! Don’t even have to write that down. I might even put on the new ones during spring break! Screw vacation, I’m putting my car together.
Hah that’s odd… I totally picked that number out of thin air.
Speaking of spring break, I gotta do my balljoints… maybe that’s when I’ll have the time. Meh.
I don’t know how you can ride the car without getting an alignment after changing a tie rod. An alignment is a MAJOR aspect, please get it aligned.
