Time For New Suspension.. Any Suggestions?

Well it time for some new suspension on the Teg i was gonna go for Tein Super Street right off off the back but then i was told man your overkill on your suspension if your not gonna autocross then your wasting money. So i was told to do Tein Bascis that it would ride smoother and cost less. But then again i herd those suck so i was wondering if anybody had opinions on what would be the best suspension to buy.

I sit pretty low so i wanna be as low or lower and ride real smooth so any suggestions?

“right off the back”

That is probably the third time in the past few days that I’ve seen it said that way, instead of the normal/original … “right off the bat”.
only other person I remember saying it that way was this guy I know from kentucky that I used to talk with in ventrillo alot while in-game.

funny how english & phrases evolve.

sorry, nothing to add. other than… NICE TEG.
tires stick out a bit too far for me, but then im allways cutting it close on curbs and stuff.
I cant even lower my teg because of the ramp we go down in order to park.
stock height scrapes if im not carefull.

go with the super streets. if your gonna ride low like that, the basics will suck. spring rates arent hard enough. the super streets will be good, and they even say street in the name so…

the famous koni yellows with ground control coil over are one of the best. I have them my self on my da but im using eg/dc shocks with da ground controls. i love those i have my car dropped as well and they handle nice but it can get bumpy on uneven road.

eh i really dont use the phrase really … as i was typing it up in a hurry i thought about deleting it up eh it sounded right cause i was gonna originally get that suspension but w.e lol
thanks on the comment of the car
yeah the back is lowered more and so is the front a lil so they dont poke out as much now. yeah when i first got the wheels i had to raise the car up it looked gay i felt like i was driving a beaner truck but now its alot better

+1 if you’re gonna get Tein. With an offset like that you’re going to want it to be stiffer so you’re not rubbing your wheel wells as much as it probably already is. I don’t know their rates. If you do Koni/GC (which I’ll vote for) get around 400lbs f/r.

is that the TEIN dude hanging off the end of your rear tow hook?

hmm yeah i herd koni/ gc ride real nice but yeah as far as rubbing on fender wells … no they dont rub. :)… but yeah i just want to have a really nice ride… if ima do suspension then i should do it right not go cheap and half ass it. so far it seems its gonna be between Tein SS or Koni/GC… unless anybody else has suggestions.

and no the tein guy isnt hanging off the tow hook… i wish it was but no… that was tigger the tiger hanging from the tow hook. he was stolen from my car about a month ago boo for thieves. i put chim chim from speed racer on there saturday but i went down to houston for the weekend for the Honda-Tech meet and he was gone when i arrived to Houston.

anyways… thanks on the feedback everybody

I’ve got Tein HAs on my car and it’s dumped (I’ll get pics later). Only thing is the HAs are Jap spec (not imported to the US) and they are for a Type R so you need Type R LCAs and forks.
Ride is fully adjustable, currently on full stiff but I can turn it down to ride like stock.
