I was starting up the CRX with the b18b (i’m going to miss that car sigh), but anyways i hearing the vibration again and im looking at the belt. I’ve already tightened the belt down a while back and even when i did that the belt still seems to be loose.
Now it’s really loose and the bolt is tight so i’m like  “WHAT!!”
so what should i do, buy a new belt because it stretched or something?
I dunno know what to do and now my sister has to drive my integra  because her carolla motor blew up so i have to go back to the CRX
will one from a SOHC work? I can get that pretty easy its just finding the time to do it. I know know what it feels like to work 50 hours a week…freaking sucks
That might work, you can try it if you want. I think that the SOHC spring is just a little shorter than the DOHC spring. No big deal though, just means that the timing belt will be tighter.
You could just go to the dealer to buy a new one. It is just a spring and shouldnt cost more than $5-10 at the most.

Then your timing belt will eventually slip, and if that happens at high rpm’s you can say goodbye to your engine.
Mine still runs, but the vibration is going through out the whole car. Right now i m to scared to move it so i’m going to get this done asait ( as soon as i have time).
I think i need a new head
