**Timing help/hesiatation**

Hello guys/girls

i recently did a motor swap on a 91 Acura integra RS with a stock b18A1 it skipped two tooths and was still running normal so i did ignition/cam timing and everything is a TDC… well i realized when i start car it will idle at 300 rpms and sound very quite… if i give it gas doesnt respond… So i left it idleing until it went up to normal rpms and drove the car and i feel the car hesistating around 500-3000 rpms than it drives normal after 3000rpms… any help will be useful i tried checking timing over and over and also added new spark plugs becuase before i did the timing the engine would leave the spark plugs black…but it dont do that no more… i have searched for 2 weeks before i posted this up So any good advice would be useful thanks!

Sounds like the timing is still retarded. Bog before normal running is the main sign.

It is really easy to get the timing marks not lined up properly. Use the holes in the camshafts and remember that there should be slack between the two cam gears when putting the belt on, not super super tight.

thanks for replying and yes i have used does two 5…mm punch holes and nada idk what it iz havent tried messing wit it no more …:worry:
