Okay so I need a little help I have an Integra 90 model b18 and I was running about 70 and it just lost all power no matter how much gas you gave it and it just died when you let off the gas. So I pulled off on the side of the interstate got out and my cat was glowing red checked my Led on my computer and it showed 43 which is fuel which is the O2 sensor. I got home took of the valve cover and the cam gear cover and all that good stuff out and found out that it jumped a tooth on my time so I reset the time and put a new belt on the belt is extremely tight Which I don’t think needs to be that tight because in no time in job I have ever done the belt has never been that hard to get on and the tensioner has no room to move and now that the timing is right all the marks are on point and you start it and nothing it turns over like its still out of time. Has full fire fuel and air. So now I’m sort leaning towards a bent or burnt valve. Any ideas?

Sorry Idk why it posted twice.
So if I’m understanding correctly it’s still not starting?
Is timing off 180 degrees?
Have you done a compression/leak down test?
Checked Fuel Pressure?
Sorry I apologize I was out of state. I couldn’t reply. But I got back and check the timing all marks were dead on so I did a compression test and it was less than 90 so I pulled the valve cover and the cam had hollowed out the cam caps on the exhaust side. So now I’m waiting on my head at the machine shop to get done. I appreciate the response. Ill let you know how it turns out.
Kinda had a feeling a compression test would show the problem
Glad to know you had it sorted out. Any inclination as to what cause it to wear out that bad? How did your springs and retainers look?
hope the shop doesn’t charge you too much to fix your head. Usually cheaper to get a used head and have it check and planed. Maybe through some new seals in while it’s out tho I find the non vtec heads are usually pretty good for not leaking at the valve seals. (then again I bought my DB1 cheap cause the guy didn’t wanna pay what it would cost to fix his motor when leaking valve seals was all that was really wrong) Personally I had a b18, that obviously needed head work, I just used that as an excuse to go buy a B20, put a new belt and water pump on and drove that for a year while collecting parts for my B16 vtec conversion.
