Tires for OEM wheel suggestions

I need to replace my tires on my OEM wheels, so 195/60/14 are what I’m looking for. All season, good in wet weather. The car is a daily driver and 100% stock.

Would you guys recommend these or comment on them?

  1. General Altimax HP
  2. Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum
  3. Sumitomo HTR A/S P01 (H&V)
  4. Falken Ziex ZE-512
  5. Riken Raptor HR
  6. Hankook Optimo H418

Is tirerack a good place to get tires or should I stick with Costco?

If you want a tire that grips well, look at the Yokohama AVS ES100. tirerack still has it in that size. I loved these on my CRX. Get a little noisy with wear but stick great dry and never had a problem in the wet. was running a 195/50/15 on GSR snowflakes but should function similarly in your size. Wish they made them for the size I want now.

Always been a big fan of the Falken’s because road noise is pretty none exsistent and wet traction was great.

if you can find get the falken 912s good all around tire and can be cross rotated for longer life

If you are in mountain veiw find out witch tire you want print out the price of the tire take it to tire rack there in mountain veiw an they will price match it for you I have a friend that works there an that what they do

I’m working on the road right now and my fronts went bald as shit had to buy some new tires while in little rock for my blades, picked up a pair of 195/50/15 hankooks treadwear is 500 on them, pretty good ride so far.

I recommend the Fuzion HRi. I picked up a set just after I got my Integra in '05 and they still have useable tread (I switch to snow tires in the winter, so they’ve lasted 6 summers). Treadwear is 400, if I’m not mistaken. If not for some excess shoulder wear resulting from an alignment issue I’d run them for another season.

Get Falken 912’s best value and performance for the money. Great in Wet (which we don’t have much of in socal) and good dry performance. You will like them trust me.
