tokico blues with s.tech springs

man i hope im posting this in the right place…im kind of new here but i need an opion on tokico blues with tein s.tech springs…cause i just picked up a set of tokico blues and im picking up a set of s.tech springs soon and i jus want some input on this set up and how does it ride

well to me the teins are to soft i would go with some siffter springs but thats just me… i still think teins are good but i heared it feels like stock

As long as you’re only going for looks and not going for any significant performance gains, you’ll be fine with that setup. I, personally, wouldn’t stick either under my car…ever.

you are going to regret bying the blues. take em back before you put them on. mine blew out after a year and a half w just a 1.5-2 inch drop

dont buy the blues…

and as for the springs, not too sure bout them

wat kind of struts should i get then…cuz i can still return the blues i only had then for a week and there still in the box…soo wat would u guys recommend

Illuminas… Koni Yellows (expensive but worth it in the long run) or the KYB AGX’s (if you really have to). All are going to cost a bit more but will be much better in the long run, especially if you end up lowering your car more than an inch.

DON’T get KYBs…any of them. Hold on…let me rephrase that. If you’re going to lower your car, DON’T get KYBs…any of them. I’ve seen too many reliability issues with even AGXs to recommend them as anything more than factory replacement. I would save up and get the Koni Sport struts. They can be softened up for street use and they’re proven to be a wonderful autocross strut. Illuminas aren’t bad, but I’d save the money for the Konis.

wat about skunk2 pro series coilovers…and how do they ride and feel… wat about tein basic dampers

help out me please

research

check out the suspension section and read up on other people’s rides and what their experience have been with certain setups. it mostly depends on what are you looking for? performance, looks, etc.
i wouldn’t recommend tokico blues either, i have them on my teggy along with eibach sportlines. It’s a rough ride, but it performs pretty well for daily street use. Even though i don’t mind the rough ride, i wish i had actually done more research and saved up more money to get those koni yellows (dammit i just forgot which springs wanted to pair them with) that would out perform most mid-priced full suspension set-ups.
some people would even recommend full suspension kits, but research more and figure out what fits what you are looking for that fits your budget as well.
good luck.

wat i want is somethin for touge and daily drive i guess u can say…rite now im lookin at a skunk2 coil over kit with shocks…or some tein basic dampers

koni yellows + eibach ground controls. that’s the combo i was going for that combo with some adjustments on the GCs would handle just about anything daily driving has to offer.
but let’s wait for more people to chime in on this i’m sure there are people out there with some first hand experience with these. or run a search on them and read some ppl’s opinions.

Koni Sport struts are expensive for a reason: They’re fantastic. My old g2 was equipped with those and Eibach Sportlines…I would have gone with GC coils had I kept the car. The ride was stiff, but not harsh. The cornering was absolutely amazing (on RS-2s) and stance was very nice.

dont go with the stec springs they are way to soft.
