I currently have illuminas with neusspeeds. White i believe are is a lil bit lower than 2 inch drop. Id like to go a little bit higher because i live in NYC and streets arnt always so friendly to my car. Any suggestions?
eibach
i would go w/ something stiffer than the eibach’s (either pro or sports…i have pros…lame) but i would go w/ some gc’s w/ rates of 350front 400 rear…but i like a stiff ride.
i wouldnt go with any coilovers , ive just heard overall they are all stiff and rough.
stiff and not rough does wonders however…
and how simple is it to adjust the height? wont there be unequal heights when adjusting the coilovers?
Coilovers have linear rate springs; a constant lbs-in throughout the spring. H&R’s have progressive rate springs; they progressively get harder as they are compressed. The H&R’s I have would be perfect for what you need, and I’m not just saying that because I have them for sale. I would reccomend the H&R Sports, or the Eibach Pro-kit. But since the Eibachs are expensive and I have a set of used H&R’s for less than half the price of brand new Eibachs, you should just grab mine.
i have the illuminas with the eibach pro kit and the drop is fine for just wat u need, cuz its not low at all and its not stock height. and the ride is great.
:gotpics:
well anything is stiff and rough if that is what you buy…it’s called finding the spring rates and getting what you want.
weapon r pro-circuits on tokico’s are a nice ride…
