Sorry if i’m not posting in the right area, Just let me know if i am. Well as the title states i have a brand new set of tokico illuminas with springs that came with the kit. I’m wondering what would be a reasonable price without asking full price, since if it was me i would rather buy them new if it was that close. The cheapest i could find on the web for the kit was about 600ish before taxes and shipping. So what would ya’ll pay if you were looking for this particular product? Any input would be great , and again sorry if i posted in wrong forum.
if they are brand new and never used. usually taking off about 50-80$ of the total cost shipped would be reasonable. if the cheapest you found them for was ~600 before taxes and shipping then i would say about 500-550 shipped would be reasonable…
you have to make it worth someones time to buy it new from you as apposed to a dealer of the parts. you understand?
Thanks for the response DA, i was thinking the same like why buy from you when i can pay just a hundred more and get them new from the dealer. But ofcourse thats before taxes and shipping so 500-550 was my guess. Its just someone offered 375 for the kit and i said no, just wanted to know from people that have the illuminas or wanted to buy them what would be a resonable price for them to jump on them. Thanks, Hopefully i can find a serious buyer local
out of curiosity, do you have the original sales receipt? If so that’s an additional plus because iirc, tokico has a limited liftetime warranty.
I would have to look for the receipt in my papers, but the warranty card is still in the box with the kit. I know they have a lifetime warranty but figured the warranty card would be what needed to be sent in or registered in order to obtain it?
Could be wrong.
I never done a warranty through Tokico firsthand, but reading through the warranty info, it seems that you need a invoice from the vendor that you bought it from in order to get the warranty honored.
Here’s the manufacture’s link for further verification:

So having a sales receipt will no doubt be very helpful as a selling point!
