tokico springs.. what do you guys think?

im gonna be doing the car… and were thinking about just going and getting lowering springs at the same time… if i buy the whole tokico kit its blues and springs and its like $80 more for the springs when you get with the kit… who here has them or had them and what kind of quality are they?

im not looking for major drop so the 1inch the tokicos give is enough

want to buy my tein ss’s? $750 shipped to your door.

if i was gonna spend that much total id go with omnipowers

its about $400 for springs/struts shipped is the budget

ive got them on my car. The handling improves a shit load. You can take a turn so much faster than with the stock suspension. The ride quality is worse then stock but much better than other performance springs/struts. It was the perfect drop for me since the roads here suck ass. The look of the car is perfect also. Not too low but just enough to make the gap between the fender and the wheel just right.
So far im very pleased with the results.

nice… anybody else around have these and wanna give a first hand opinion?

and dont compare to yellows w/ coilovers… thats just stupid

got any pictures of your car after the drop?

1st pic is before
2nd and 3rd are after

those the teins? cause, im are wayyyyyyyyyy lower that yours and it looks good as hell…

those are the tokico blues

the kit with tokico springs?.. or just the blues?

I have those on my teg, I haven’t gotten to test them out since I just got them on, and I still don’t have a tranny worth a shit.

Polska - you said these are decent on shitty roads?

I bought a 90 teg that the previous owner lowered (not sure what exactly he did) and I’m pretty sure the struts are shot - or it wasn’t done right - I mean like I can’t go over railroad tracks over 10 mph without the car feeling like its fallin apart. This is my daily driver; anybody have any other suggestions?

yea, i think they are pretty good for shitty roads. Its rougher than stock but not too rough. My best explination is that people that dont know my car is lowered dont even notice the worse ride.

Thanks Polska - That sounds like exactly what I’m looking for, but it turns out I’ve got a loose ball joint and some other stuff in the front end, so I’m gonna see how it rides after I get that shit fixed before I make any moves.

i have tokico blue with eibach prokits and it looks almost like that. and my handling has greatly improved
