Took a mini road trip

With the family, the db2 doesn’t get driven much anymore. She has 178k miles and still drives silky smooth. With the wife at work, it would just be dad and the girls. I figure what the heck. Let’s do a Vegas trip and roll out to the Valley of fire. Perfect name of a state park for a car that is milano red. I am glad she didn’t get stolen in Vegas. Got 35 mpg cruising to Nevada and 30.8 mpg speeding home. Got to love the LS 5th gear

Looks like a fun trip! Always nice to get out on the open highway after being on all these crowded socal highways.

Just saw this post, bringing it back from about a year ago. Great car, great destination. We should meet up at VOF one day soon. I love that park.

I work every weekend, so scheduling is a little tough. If it is far enough in advance, would love to roll up the VOF and light some fireworks at the gas station :excite:
