Thats because I don’t think anyone else in the country is as obsesses with the Integras as we have become.

Colin - It is possible to use a bushing with ‘x’ diamater in more than one TA. Wes only stated that the arms were different, not the bushings in the arms.
At least thats what I got out of it.

Nah, we were talkin the si crx ta arm AND bushing are like the DA’s…
Nah, he meant this:
90-91 crx Si trailing arm bushings are the same size as our DA bushings.
All the rest of the civic/integra bushings are the other size (EK, EG, DC and the “rest” of the EFs are all identical).
BUT this doesnt make any sense, just as colin noted. See, mugen knows that people race crx Sis, and they also know that people who race need non-shitty TA bushings. So IF they were different (which IMO, they arent. Wes probably got a DA TA bushing, and not the 90-91 crx si like the thought), mugen wouldve made one that size too. How would they be able to neglect honda’s most track worthy car of its time?
Wes, what size were the brakes on that crx TA? How about on the DA TA.

Ben…
yeah, we’re definitely on the same page ben. If the bushings were the same it seems like someone would have figured out you can just use 90-91 crx si bushings on the DA… and then this 20 or so pages of us trying to figure things out would have been worthless. And yeah, i was wondering about the possibility that the arm he pulled of the crx was really one from a da… maybe someone had swapped them at some point??
It is totally possible that the junk yard sold me the arms was mistaken!! It was Blue Motors in Sun Valley California and the owner seems real sharp, but we are all human here.
The only way of really knowing would be to have somebody that has a stock 90/91 CRX Si (rear disk brakes) measure the outside diameter of the bushing.
I’ll give Scott a call tomorrow and try to figure it all out.
Once all this gets sorted out, somebody should post the bushing numbers along with the outside diameter so that somebody can measure the ones they currently have (while on the car) and order the correct ones.

yeah, this is definitely a good idea. Have a list of bushing size, honda part number and mugen part number… something to make it easy to see what you need and what your options are. I have some pics on my other computer of the comparison between DA and DC bushing sizes… in case anyone needs 'em.
80mm with an 82mm opening on the inside to facilitate insertion
Hehe,
Schu said “insertion”…

Hey…
This is some great info that you guys are finding. I just wanted to subscribe to the thread and say thanks for all the hard work and research to everyone.
I was wrong!!
After making an inquiry on the Honda Tech board, it seems that the 90/91 CRX Si (with disk brakes) used the smaller bushing.
What this all boils down to is that all 4G civics use the small diameter bushing part number 52385-SR3-000. The diameter is something like 80.5 mm.
The large diameter bushing is used in Integras and is part number 52385-SK7-N02.
Wes
Whats weird about that is that my local Acura Dealership wouldnt touch part# 52385-SK7-N02 because it is a Honda Part…so it must be for some Honda vehicle…
Those DA bushings are $62 round here. ouch…
Ben
Damn Wes, I thought for sure it would be that car, considering IT atleast has alot of the same rear components as a DA…
O well, the search must continue for the Da TA “sister”.
I-SOS! Now I’m confused. So will 52385-SK7-N02 work in the DA? We need someone here who has done it to chime in. $120 is some duckets to blow and have not fit. Can FamilyG2 take a micrometer to the SK7 and one of use measure the extracted DA sleeve?
~B
YES it is the correct bushing for the DA .
Thanks mang!
