Got a problem that im not too psyched on. I go up to the berlin turnpike(ct’s fri. and sat. cruise place), to hang out with friends and do a little racing. I get some higher octane gas and i cruise up there, the car starts acting up as soon as i get there. Grinding 3rd gear mostly everytime, and it was difficult to get it in all the other gears, not to mention i had to have the clutch to the floor completly just to get it into a gear, whereas before it let me push it in like 2 inches and shift. Then when i was sitting in a parking lot i go to put it in reverse and i let the clutch out and it grabs as soon as i let off a little bit, and before that it always grabbed like an 1inch from all the way out. One other thing, when i went to leave everytime i started up in 1rst it would jitter the whole car. My car has 171,000 miles on it and its still the stock clutch. Im guessing the clutch is gone, but i heard something about bad syncros too. Any suggestions. I wanna fix it myself as fast as possible. thanks guys
p.s. any real cheap clutchs online that people know of, like 250$ or less, doesnt neccisarily have to be performace. Oem is fine for now i guess, but performance would be nice.
