This may sound REALLY NEWBISH of me but i must know. I’ve had my teg for about a year now and when i got it, i took it to Honda for a complete tune up. Now i’m doing work on my car myself and i’m wondering if my car has to be level to check the tranny fluid??
Sorry to bug you guys for such a :loser: question.
yes your car should be level when you check the tranny oil level. There us a 17mm bolt on the passanger side of the tranny. The oil level should be even with the threads on the bottom of the hole. This is for a manual tranny. The car should allways be level when you check the tranny and motor oil.
Don’t be shy Rep. Even the knowledgeable ones get caught asking newbie questions once in a while
Anyway, I hope you have downloaded the Helms manual. It will show you the location of the filler and drain bolts. Search the archives or integra help for the link. If not, the Haynes manual is always a good supplement.
