tranny swap ??????

ok this question isn’t for me but to answer a ??? for my buddy. He has a 01 zx2 automatic and asked me if it be worth it to swap for a manual tranny, and about how much would the cost run him. So not knowing much about tranny’s i figure come on here and see what you guys think. Would it be worth it for him to swap it into his car or any car, an integra, an eclipse or any thing. I heard it’s really expensive but how much would he be lookin at and would it be worth the expense. And, have any of you guys currently done this??

A2M swaps on 2G tegs have been done and my car will soon go through this. As for being worth it, it all depends on how much you want to keep your car. You can pretty much write off selling it for the cost of the swap - let alone fair market value for the car.
