transmission fauilure questions, help

hey wassup, 1.5 months back installed a new clutch. now 5th gear pops out, and 3rd grind 50/50…

i hear slight whines from 1st and 2nd…that must be the synchros, but thoes gears are fine… 4th is good too

can anyone tell me, if i could have put it back together inccorrect…or someting…

list possible causes/ or what i could think up

175k on tranny
squeeking cable
ddint use mtf redline…could be bad gear oil…

anyone have any say?>

could be your gear oil… try replacing it with Honda MTF and make sure you put the right amount in… Even if you don’t want to do that, at least make sure you have enough in there. Beyond that, I couldn’t help ya… haven’t had my clutch or tranny apart … yet. :wink:

yeah i guess i can try that, its cheap… im worried ill have to dig in there and take it all apart anyway…but eh… ican reuse the oil.
