it just means that ur transmission is getting effed up lol… its very common on our old cable transmission unfortunetly… =( well think about it… our cars are from the early 90’s… were in 2010… and chances are that the tranny in ur car HAS NEVER BEEN REBUILT… maybe replaced with a better condition one… but never rebuilt to new OEM SPECS… so thats over 18 years of someone driving around these transmissions… it happends… if u honestly plan on keeping the car… rebuilt the transmssion… u can just buy a used one but u will be taking a gamble not knowing what ur gonna get… theirs noting like having the piece of mind knowing that u have a BRAND NEW TRANNY… but if u dont wanna spend that much on a tranny rebuilt… just buy a used one… regular cable LS YS1 trannys go for about 300-400 from any japanese engine importer shop… and they offer warranty against grinds. =) ur call… and if ur curious tranny rebuilt jobs typically cost about anywhere from 700-1000 for the rebuilt… and thats if ur capable of bringing down the transmission on ur own… if not… mechanics typically charge about 300 dollars to drop it for u… while its off… good idea to replace clutch =D
