transmission swaps

was wondering if there were any other honda/acura transmissions that can fit into a 1990 integra? it is a auto but i wanted to know if there was a shorter geared tranny ?
i know " i serched and found a lil’ bit of info " i know it has to be a b-series tranny and must be cable to make it easy. so if someone is running a different transmission in there ride right now can you tell me what the process was or if yall know of a website to read a how-to that would help thanks.

Any B-series transmission will fit, but later models are hydraulic. So you would need a conversion kit! The 92-93 GS-R (YS1) is a great option, because the gear ratios are close to the Type-R’s and all of the motor mounts match up! However, I do believe it is hydraulic!

Hope this helps you!

Im pretty sure the 92-93 gsr tranny are cable. You can use the b16 cable trannies too and they are shorter geared as well.

but can i use those trannies on a AUTO integra? i thought 5spd trans only work with 5spd cars? also i heard of people using a accord transmission for better gas mileage. what accord would this be out of? the only reason i asked is because i wanted to know if there is a transmission that can be put in a AUTO integra that has short gears.
seeing as a 5spd has a upper hand on gear shifting i thought it would be cool to know if this was possible. and i know i can do auto to 5spd swap but rather not. thanks again guys
