problem with fan not cutting on and speedometer and temparture gauges not working after 5 speed swap, it runs just dont know whats wrong with the speedometer and cooling gauges anybody know where to look to troubleshoot these?! Also my turn signals dont work what the hell went wrong with those???
Give me a email address and I will send all the info on the fans. The fill to large to post.
The speedometer you most likey you did not get cable pushed in all the way.
Did you cut cables/wires? Did you remeber to reconnect all the connections under the dash and to the cluster? Are you still using the AT cluster?
i got the 5 speed cluster and all that is fine did that like 2 months before the swap along with the pedal assem. and where does the speedo go the haynes manual doesnt tell you shit!
And also im not exactly sure if the fan isnt cutting on or not but ive been looking at it since the gauge isnt working and havent seen it cut on yet, but no overheating smoke yet eaither?
There is info in this thread on how to hook it up.
This is what it looks like tranny end

Do you still need help with the fans.
speedo helped out, thanks and YES i still need help with the fans, thanks alot
I need an email address to send the file to it is to big to post It is a PDF
I have sent you the files
Yeah with the fans, check the thermostat / ECT Switch first, and that the ECT sending unit is hooked up.
ECT Switch – on side of thermostat housing, turns on radiator fan. BLK wire needs to be ground, and YEL/GRN (GRN/YEL?) needs to be continuous to the radiator fan relay.
ECT Sending unit – Single wire plug on side of head, sends signal to gauge cluster (YEL/GRN)
ECT Solenoid – Another identical unit like the Switch, but located on side of head next to sending unit. Sends data to ECU I think… (RED/WHT, and GRN/WHT)
Oil temp switch – Back of block on tranny side – Sends data to Radiator fan control module (WHT/GRN, BLK) – works just like ECT Switch.
Check all those first – then if that doesn’t work, test the radiator fan relay (near radiator fan, next to battery), and the radiator fan control module (under dash, between blower unit & glove box; mounted on metal pole)
