Hi Im having gettin the old transmission mount off. I got all the bolts off but can get it out. I lowered the engine but cant get it off that top bolt. its a 1992 acura integra 5speed.
Which one? Assuming it’s the side passenger one, you need to take the long bolt out (that holds the mount to the car). This allows you to shove the mount up more; with the aid of a pry bar you should be able to free it off the stud
Some pics of the bolt in question would help a little bit.
I’ll be in Sterling tomorrow, and might even be heading to Alexandria as well to look at a new car for my wife. I might be able to help out if I’m over that way.
Yeah I was doin it in school then I just put it all back together. I was having trouble gettin it over that bolt. some friends suggested taking the passenger mount and the bracket. the bolt in the middle

Trans Mount Replacement
Well I just took it to the local gas station. They had to do alot just to take the mount out
- Take Battery Out and Take all the bolts out
- Remove Clutch Cable Bolts and move Cable out of the Way.
- Loosen up engine frame below
- Take a Pry Bar and Pry the Engine Frame enough to get the Mount out.
To Install, reverse the steps. But anyways was alot of work just for that mount.
