trunk leak

I am finding that every time it rains my trunk has water in it and my back seats are wet can anyone help me with this problem

The first thing you are going to want to do is check your seal to make sure that it is still in good condition. If that passes your test then you will want to check out your drain plugs for your moonroof (if you have one). They run from the moonroof to the rear of the car on each side (there are 2 drains). Make sure that they arent plugged up with anything that may have fallen into them. That is a really common problem, especially for cars that are parked outside a lot.
That last thing that you would want to check that I can think of offhand would be your taillight gaskets. They could be leaking.

I’m having the exact same problem, but couldin’t find the problem I will check out the locations above now tho…

I put a big sheet of plastic underneath the rear seats as a temp fix. people sitting in the back of my car where getting wet asses!!

I know I’ve posted this before…

Check the drain hole that’s near your jack, it’s probably clogged. That way if water still gets in, at least it will flow out.

The hole near my jack has metal underneath it is it supposed to be like that ? It looks as if there is no way water could flow through that hole
