i have a 91 DA and had a messed up trunk so i replaced it with a 93 trunk. the 93 trunk for some reason does not fit. if im correct, the only body difference with 90-91 compared to 92-93 is just the bumpers right? does anybody know what i can do to make the trunk fit correctly?
Trunk lid and tail lights are different between 90-91 and 92-93.
is there any way for me to make the 93 trunk fit on a 91?
Get 92-93 tail lights.

i believe there is also a difference between the 4dr rs trunk and ls trunk.
i have a 92 rs trunk lid on my 4dr and the tail lights do not match up.
Trunk lids are the same in trim levels.
But yes… 90-91 trunk lid is different from 92-93 trunk lid.
dang no wonder whenever i try to close it, the trunk doesnt shut it just bounces straight up every time. it only shuts when i put a lot of force on the trunk downwards. i was thinking it was because the trunk wasn’t lined up properly or something because the left side has a larger gap than the right. its a 2 door spikeymikey.
The 2 door hatch lids are the same without any difference… Probably need to adjust the latch and re-align the trunk lid so its perfectly centered.
yeah i was thinking that the latches are different but i wasn’t sure.
Also if the trunk isn’t lining up properly, chances are the frame/chasis could be bent/twisted from an accident.
Also all info (lid/tail lights) I posted earlier pertains to 4dr only, since I assumed you had a 4dr.
no its a 2 door. for some reason if i push it down hard enough itll lock so im guessing it being aligned isnt an issue because it does lock. do you guys know if the latch differs in the years?
