So does anyone make mirror block off plates for our integras? I looked around a bit and couldnt really find anything.
I don`t mind making my own but if I can avoid then why not…

ive seen OEM block-offs for EFs, and ive seen people adapt aftermarket EF mirrors to their DAs, so i cant imagine that its too hard.

for 40 bucks, i say get them and see, sell them on a forum if you cant use them.
are you going smaller or no mirrors at all?
e: here is the thread i saw: http://forums.g2ic.com/showthread.php?185933-Installation-of-Spoon-style-mirrors&highlight=spoon%20mirrors
Good lookin out. They fit really well minus that small gap where the ef door would curve upwards.
Il be keeping the mirrors, just picked up a pair of MRacing mirrors so I need a base to bolt them to.
you could sand the rest of the bottom to match and run some thin black weatherstripping along the bottom of the plate, between it and the black trim on the door, and i would bet no one would be able to tell. would be way easier than fabbing up a set (and, if you dont like them after you mod them, ive been wanting to delete my passenger side mirror for a while and would be more than willing to buy them off of you, as i dont give a shit about aesthetics)
also, i can save on shipping if you send those skunkworks coils too! /selfish offtopic response
good luck either way, i wanna see what you do, wether it be modded EF plates or custom cause like i said, i wanna get rid of mine all together and as much as i dont care about looks, a giant hole where the mirror was isnt good for rain here in its-raining-while-the-sun-is-out florida.
I’m leaning toward making my own so I’ll post up pics when im done. Just unsure of whether or not I should go with a flat plate of carbon or a moulded piece of fibreglass.
Damn, totally forgot about the coils. I sent my konis for revalving and have the car is sitting on the skunks waiting for paint. I’ll be able to get them out to you in the spring if you still want them… sorry about that
yeah fiberglass, youll appreciate the looks over flat plastic more i think. just cause its a track car doesnt mean it cant look kinda pretty right?
dont worry about it man, whenever youre ready to let them go, im ready to take them. also, if you still use and need them for stuff like this, i would feel bad taking them.
I bought a set of “spoon” mirrors on ebay since I figured they would be two peice and I could just use the triangle bit as a block off. Turns out when they say it fits a 92 integra they actually mean it fits a 91 civic. LOL. I took them apart and my idea would have worked if they would have been made to fit the integra. Oh well it was worth a shot.
I guess il stick to making my own…
OMG - If youre looking for a fast and cheap mirror block off idea i noticed that you could simply use the interior trim peice that covers the little triangle bit. Get the left hand side one from an power mirror integra flip it and glue it to the right hand side.
