My friend has a YSK1 cable trans, anyone know what kind of tranny that is? I have never even heard of it. I’ve heard of YS1, Y1, S1, J1 but never YSK1. He thinks it’s a JDM b16 trans or either a 92-93 GSR trans if anyone knows what it is I would appreciate it.

Just in case that team-integra thread wasn’t clear… that is not the tranny code. The B series tranny codes are not “stamped” or “cast” into the case. They are printed on a sticker which is put on the transmission (some newer transmissions had the code painted/marked on the actual metal).
The sticker is visible from the engine bay and is located near the code stamp for your block. Unfortunately often times the stickers are missing…
