just a cheap copy of the Greddy/Thermal/RSR/Tanabe side mount style systems, theres a guy i see driving every once in a while around here with one, it sounds better than a fart can does but still is quite raspy compared to my exmag
The subject said “axelback”, I did not realize it said catback in the text… Thought it was a new product or something.
I am looking for an axleback, which is the reason I was interested. Double the cost of that, and you could have a really nice exhaust. Take that money and have a shop custom build one for you, and you would have some left over.
ehh, maybe he saw someone selling just the axleback or something at one time, but typing in tsudo axleback on ebay doesnt bring anything up so i just figured he meant catback.
there is a kid with a CRX on campus that always has me do work on his car for him and he has a cheap generic(what i assume is the tsudo brand not sure though) B-Pipe/Midpipe and its quality is very poor, sure it is 2 1/4" but at all the flanges there is bottlenecks that bring the size down to 1 7/8"-2" or thereabouts, and the resonators in the pipe are pretty cheaply done. If you look at the resonator in the exmag it is over double the size around as the tsudo ones.
Oh ya, I would not buy anything like what you posted. I am just interested in an axleback. My stock exhaust is rotting from the axle back. The first turn after the axle flange has a hole, the muffler has one hole on the inlet side, one on the bottom, and one on the outlet, then the Y at the tips has a hole in it. The tips can be “turned” by just pushing on them. Pretty sad. But I am not going to replace it just yet, probably going to buy a muffler (dynomax or somesuch) to pass the visual on emmissions, and get some piping. Until I get enough to buy a decent exhaust (rsr exmag is what I am saving for)
yea im going to buy just the axle back but i remembered that they dont sell just the axle back, only reason im considering this is just i want something different besides stock and it is just the axle back for a cheap price, once i get that on im going to invest in a rsr or sp2. but till then i might get this.
any quality in sound? deep tone?

As for performance, an axle back alone really isn’t going to do anything.

If your referring to the FM axleback, I agree. I was just showing that that someone actually does make specifically an axleback system for our cars. “Ass-Sucking” as it may be, it still exists. 
i have one and they only fit 90-91 cars. It lines up like shit on my 92 but looks great on the 90-91.

Compton: are you talking about the tsudo catback, or the Flowmaster axleback?
I believe that this exhaust would be a hell of alot better then any crumy exhaust a muffler shop could put together. I had an exhaust shop make mine and boy did it suck, just spend the money on a pre-made cat back. Much much better.
