hey all, im running an ls/vtec in my 92 gs. im have a chipped obd1 ecu (p28). my question is- the drivability of the motor is odd. it will sputter below 2k rpm under light load. i dont have a FPR, or cams, or anything that would really effect the engine like this. ive searched for a solution. it seems i either need it dyno’d, a VAFC, or is something going on with the motor? i would like any help, especially cuz alot of the tuning aspect is something i dont know too much about? thanks, im more trying to learn about tuning, then getting a fix for my cars problem, cuz i dont fully understand from alot of the forums ive read here.
i think u need adjustable cam gears for the ls/vtec to run properly… since the timing will be different…
i have looked and i cant get any anwsers. i was hopeing that more people out there would like to just give an opinion. here’s trying again…

if you have a chipped ECU you dont need a VAFC, call and ask a tuner for his opinion, let him know your setup
