I am about as confused as I can get…

You replaced the ICU so things are working “My chimes and fog lights and the blinker sounds work now.”

Not sure why the fogs would start working when ICU is replaced, ICU has nothing to do with the fog lights.

The same for park lights, [corner lights] other then the front side markers, the ICU has nothing to do with the park lights.
If park lights do not work the front side markers will not turn on.

“blinker sounds” I do not understand what you mean by “blinker sounds” ???

“The bumper lights work but the corner lights dont.” the "bumper lights are signal/hazard lights, you said “no blinkers”???

So we understand each other…

Park lights are the lights, [exterior] that come on at the first turn of the head light switch, they include the tail lights, and the front side markers, the dash illumination lights, [interior] will also come on.

Turn signals, [blinkers?] art the lights that come on when turn signal lever is switched left or right, they include a left and right set in the tail lights, the front signal lights, [bumper lights?] and the front side markers, that blink on if park lights are off and blink off if park lights are on.

Hazard lights, same lights as signal lights but both sides work at the same time, obviously, the side markers work the same way, blink on if park lights are not on and blink off if park lights are on.

Again, the front side markers work as park lights, signal lights and hazard lights and are controled by the ICU but the ICU must get a signal, [power] from the park light switch, signal light switch or the hazard light switch for the side markers to work.

Power for the hazard lights and the signal lights both go through the hazard light switch.
Do the hazard lights work?

You said you have no park lights, do the dash illumination lights work? 94

Sorry i typed it up really fast last night.

Before i couldnt here any of the beeping sounds when i had the key turned and my door open. Also my rear defrost didnt work. But now they do! Thanks to the icu.

The park lights dont work in the side markers.

Yes the dash lights do work.

And i replaced the fuse for the fog lights. I also replaced the fuse for the back up lights twice.

The hazards only work in the bumper lights and tailights. Not the side markers.
So pretty much the problem im having is the side markers arnt working or getting any power at all.

So what should i check first? The hazard light switch?

Is the only problem you have now the front side markers not working with either the park lights, hazard lights or signal lights, do the signal lights work at all?

If the hazard lights work, [except on front side markers] but signal lights do not work at all, then yes, you will need to check the hazard lights switch.

First check the fuse for signal lights, fuse 23 (1990) fuse 1 (1991-93) 10A, [hot in run or start] in under dash fuse box, this is also the fuse for your back-up lights.
You said you changed this fuse “twice”, does that mean the fuse blows.
If so, when does it blow, as soon as ign. switch is turned on or when car is put into rev., if it blows when car is put into rev., there is a short in the back-up lights circuit, the short is not in the signal light circuit as the hazard lights work, [same circuit after hazard light switch]. 94

The fuses didn’t blow i just changed them twice to make sure they wernt defective. I just checked it again and its still good.
yea the signals and park lights dont work. But its only with the sidemarkers. Everything else works. And yes if you mean the signal lights in the cluster, they do work.

Noob question: How do i take out the hazard switch? Shoud i just take a flat head to it and pry it out?

What am i looking for? Falsy connections to the switch or messed up wire?

If it is only the front side markers that are not working, the problem is not in the hazard switch, it is in the ICU or the connections between the ICU and the front side markers.

Have you checked the side marker light bulbs?
I have never seen/heard of an ICU that none of the side marker light operations working, no park lights, no hazard lights and no signal lights, but anything is possible, check the green/red, [right side marker] and green/white, [left side marker] outputs from the ICU, see if there is power on them when park lights are on, [or signal/hazard].

If you have power at the ICU and none at the bulb holder, [same colors] then there is a break in the connection, also check the ground leads, [black] at the bulb sockets, they should be good as they share a common ground with the front turn signals. 94

So i pulled off one of the corner lights today and noticed that one of the bulbs were burnt. So I took out the other bulb and it had a black tint around the bulbs glass so i couldnt examine it. Is it possibe that all the bulbs burnt out from a short? I don’t work tommorow off so ill be buying some bulbs and see what happens.

More then likely one went and the other when later, you just did not notice until you had the other problems, it is unlikely that they both went at the exact same time, although anything is possible. 94

Ive had the car for like 8 months. And its been sitting and i havent registered it. Well i cant because im not 18. But since my bro is registering it soon im trying to get everything fixed. Thanks for all your help FCM!! :rockon:
