ok so my turn signals dont work and i have no idea why…but my emergency lights work all but the sidemarkers. I checked the fuse box under the dash and it seems to be fine…right now i am clueless and need some help so if yall could help me out i would really appreciate it thanks
when u say fuses, does that include the flasher id check there
Signal light fuse is fuse 1 - 10A (91-93) or fuse 23 - 10A (90), [hot in run and start] in under dash fuse box.
If you just eyeballed the fuse to see if it was good check it again, either test it properly or replace it with a new or known working one, a fuse can look good and still be no good, defective.
If you are sure the fuse is good you will need to pull the hazard switch and do some testing, you will need a multimeter or at least a 12V test light.
Power for both the hazard lights and signal lights go through the hazard switch.
You will need to test the yellow/red lead, [may by just yellow] it is signal light power input to hazard switch, it should test as 12V+ when ign. switch is in the run or start position.
If no power, you have a wiring problem, between the fuse and hazard switch.
If there is power at the yellow/red lead, test the green/white lead with hazard switch OFF, it should test as 12V+ when ign. switch is in run or start.
If no power, replace the hazard switch…
If no power, you need to test farther down line.
We already know the “Turn Signal/Hazard Relay” is good, as the hazard lights work, so you can skip it and move on to the signal light switch.
At the steering wheel harness find and test for power on the green/red lead, it should test as 12V+ when ign. switch is in run or start.
If no power, you have a wiring problem between the “TSHR” and the signal light switch.
If there is power at the green/red find and test for power on the green/blue (left) and green/yellow (right) also in steering wheel harness, with ign. switch in run or start and signal light switch on.
If no power, replace signal light switch.
If there is power at the green/blue and green/yellow you have a wiring problem between the signal light switch and the signal lights.
No front side markers with hazard lights is a problem with the ICU.
Questions…
Do the front side markers work when park/head lights are turned on?
Does your rear window defog work?
Do the intermittent front windshield wipers work?
Do the warning chimes, [lights still on, key still in ign., seat belt]?
Does drivers door turn on dome light when opened? 94
Oops.
Ok I know that on DAs there is two right.but should I just change them out?
There is no “flasher”, blinking is done by the “Turn Signal/Hazard Relay”, [flasher is built in] for both the signal lights and the hazard lights, there is nothing wrong with the “TSHR”, we know this because the hazard lights work. 94

Ok so u have this same problem but on top of that my fogs dont work either. i checked all my fuses and they checked out ok. Sorry to thread jack but it would be pointless starting another thread.
Do the front side markers work when park/head lights are turned on?
no.
Does your rear window defog work?
no.
Do the intermittent front windshield wipers work?
yes.
Do the warning chimes, [lights still on, key still in ign., seat belt]?
my seatbelts work fine but my chimes dont work.
Does drivers door turn on dome light when opened?
I dont think so. But they do work when i turn them on.
hope you can help me out fcm.

NOPE DONT WORK BUT WHEN YOU OPEN THE PASSENGER DOOR THEY DO
Both of you need to replace or repair the ICU, there is a teg-tip for the repair.
All the things listed, [with exception of fog lights] are controlled by the ICU, some functions may still work even though others do not, EG; front side markers work with park lights but not properly with signal lights.94

Ok so u have this same problem but on top of that my fogs dont work either.
Have the fog lights been “rewired” in any way?
Have you checked fuse 19 - 15A, [hot at all times] in under dash fuse box, and did you check it properly or just eyeball it?
Have you checked the bulbs?
Does the indicator light on the fog light switch turn on?94

I did check the fuse. I eyeballed it and it looked good but then later replaced it. The one fog bulb i checked was good but neither of them work. The fogs have not been rewired and the indicator does turn on.
Theres nothing for removing the ICU the link is no longer there. Is it located behind the fuse box or behind the driver side panel somewhere near the mfr?
The ICU is mounted to the back of the under dash fuse box, does the link I gave not work for you?
See 2nd pix of fuse box, back, to the right of white splash gaurd… http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-93-acura-integra-OEM-indash-fuse-box-w-fuses-etc_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1546Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem518508647aQQitemZ350124270714QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories 94
ok i believe there is two ten size bolts holding it up right… and tomorrow i will be stopping by the junkyard to take me a ICU and hopefully that works
ok well i replaced the icu like 7 times with different icu’s from the junk yards and still no blinkers work…the only thing that it did fix was the intermediate wipers so now what can i do fcm…
The ICU would only fix the problems it controls, it does not control the signal lights, other then for the front side markers.
Did you do the checks at the hazard light switch I suggested?

ok i checked the hazard switch and there is no power in the red/yellow wire while the switch is in…so i guess there is a wiring problem between the fuse and the switch right
That would be correct.
If there is no power on the yellow/red, [just yellow in some G2s] then there is a problem between the fuse and the hazard switch.
Check all the plugs into and around the under dash fuse box, make sure they are plugged in properly, even if they are unplug them and plug them back in. 94:cross:94
PS… a temporary fix would be to run a lead from the 2nd ign. free pin on the under dash fuse box to the yellow/red at the hazard switch, it will get you signal lights till you can find the problem.
awsome tip I will definatly try that. Thanks for the help bro
Ok so i finnally got around to fixing my icu. I just snagged one from the junk yard and it looked to be in great condition. My chimes and foglights and the blinker sounds work now. But the park lights (when you turn the thing once) dont work and neither do the blinkers. The bumper lights work but the corner lights dont. FCM what could it be?
thanks!
