Its a gsr tranny as well, as for mileage.i was told it had 140k when I bought the car 5 years ago.so roughly 160.Car for the most part just sits in the garage till a meet pops up.
I have a 92 agp db2 with only 172 original miles on it. It is completely stock. Its getting paint and body work from being victim of a hit and run. I wish your car was a white db2 like sethman2000’s. I would be up for the trade or if you had type r swap. What about the db2 do like besides the agp color? The gsr swap should have more horsepower than the B17. I love a white DA/DB2. My first DA was a DA9 GS just like yours But with the armrest and dark illegal tint. I wish I never sold it. Did you do the timing belt service when you did the swap or know any history of the motor? What kind of MPG’s are you getting?
Just something about having a rare car with a rare color option that makes me want one.Hell ,i wish i could even find a agp shell and bring it back to life.I dont really care about being fast anymore.That was more in my teen years.I just want a nice simple db2 what i can enjoy.I had a white db2 a few years back,but it started knocking so i sold it.Ive regret it ever since.
As for mpg ,around 260 a tank.so 24-26mpg?Never really kept track.Ive always put 93 shell though.I bought the car with the swap 4-5 years ago without any of the skunk 2 accessorys.I havent done the timing belt, so it might have to be done in the near furture.
I understand the rare factor, I am in it for the same thing. I find it that the white db2 and black CDM db2 are the rarest colors IMO. For what ever reason around where I live I’ve seen more red and agp db2’s than white. I’m acquiring as many rare JDM/USDM options that I can that I like. I’ve compiled quite a bit thus far. I got my first/original DA6 GS while in high school when I was 17 in '98, I sold it in '03 while in college regrettably. I had an obsession with the DA early on before I had a driver liscense. I always knew that I wanted another DA at some point. It took me nearly 9 years to get my agp db2.
I was under the impression you did the swap. I suppose you have no documentation from the previous owner about the swap, just word of mouth?
The car looks really clean. There is a guy on here that is in Alabama selling his AGP DB2 with a 91 JDM clip. He has a listing in the Cars for sale thread.
yea exactly,just word of mouth,The motor hasn’t given me any problems so far.Last year the fuel pump went out and this year I broke the tranny at the track.Had a b16 hydro tranny.
Yea I saw that ,I already tried to calculate my expenses if i were to go get it.ha.Might want to see what around here before I try getting that one.Its a hell of a deal though.
Ive seen a few white ones,4-5 green ones ,and only 1-2 red ones around here.

LOL too bad ytou aren’t in Cali one just popped up again on Craigslist in Nor Cal area for 4500. Wish I had the free $$$, but I’m dead set on finishing my GS first
