Tx: Last bnib b17 in the world!!

i forgot to post pics of the one i am actually selling since the one in the pics will be the one i am gonna use. this one is still wrapped up from honda ready to go, or to be stashed away as a collector item

:bump:

Honestly think this is a fair price for this. For those saying it’s priced high blah blah blah, I challenge you to find another BNIB B17A1 short block somewhere else and cheaper than this, think it’s safe to say that you will not find one anywhere else. Also yes we ALL know that you can buy a jdm B18C Type-R swap for from HMO for 3700 or the 98-01 spec for 4400, but that’s besides the point and irrelevant to this.

To OP great find/pick up on this. Wish I had the extra funds to get this but just can’t justify myself getting this while I’m working on my k swap build right now. GLWS/T

Ttmft!!

now listed on ebay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/261948162734?item=261948162734&viewitem=&vxp=mtr

need sold asap

buying it from me on the forum saves $500! cuz those dam ebay fees lol

This seemed to be a ridiculous price too, but then I though about the price of sourcing the used parts, properly machining them for a rebuild, then sourcing the required new parts and assembling them. You then still have a rebuilt engine.

Looks like this would be the easy button for an actual restoration.

a new oem crank is $835 alone, and yup thats what i tell everyone even if you do new pistons and rings, and seals and bearings, u still have used crank, block, all that stuff…

this is a deal… and if i sell it at $2000 shipped i lose money, but honestly right now i don’t care, i finished college, and my kid starts school next month, so getting some quick cash is what i need to do

had to relist on ebay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/B17-complete-shortblock-BRAND-NEW-LAST-ONE-EVER-/261959356812

bidding went strong in the first few hours, jump in on it and lets get this sold!

another big jump in the bids!

need alot more bids or will have to cancel, i am not taking a $1000 loss on this

No one is going to pay 2500 for a block!!!
