we are not talking rebuild, THIS IS BRAND NEW! i have been arguing with people on NWP all day about this, also this is not NEW type r money, you will never have another chance to buy a BRAND NEW IN BOX B17 from HONDA…

You could go buy the head here and it would be just about complete.
2500 block + 1400 for the head. Not to mention all the fun parts that would still be missing and you could have yourself a brand new B17a. Do it! 
they don’t sell them complete or i woulda bought complete, they sell the head brand new, but its bare, no valves, no cams. the block is pretty much complete, just need to swap over the gear for the timing belt, add a water pump, crank pulley, the block breather, oil restrictor and alternator bracket and your old sensors and bam its good to go
they used to sell these short blocks for $3800, a new OEM BNIB short block for a b16 or b18 is still $3400 ++

Save the purist enthusiast crap, you’re just flipping it. We all know the current price of a new b17 short block.
if you’d like u can go buy a BARE block from honda for $1335 they are on sale from the usual $1800 and then u can go spend another $835 on crank, that already puts you over 2 grand… and that still won’t have pistons, rods, oil pump, or oil pan…
really don’t care what you THINK you know about what i am doing. i have been on these pages since 2010 but as bryan24207, and paid some pretty outrageous prices for parts because they are “rare” well there is nothing more rare than the LAST BNIB b17 for sale…
another prime example, the jdp hiros, they cost $350 to make, but people sell them on here for $700 all day… go blow smoke up someone elses asses… cuz i don’t need that crap in my lungs

i have 2 Brand new in the box. and the old one from my car. the one i am gonna use in my car was the 2nd to last which is un boxed and on the stand as u can see. the other one is in the box. i didn’t wanna open it…
