save your money
Why?
4x100 vs 5x114 (if i’m not mistaken)
Its been done before the proper way by swapping type R hubs and rotors.
wel… where i’m from… a couple of jobs had been done with a lot of success
i’m not the first one to do this conversion…but nobody has done it with a DA here…
suit yourself there threads somewhere on this board about how to do it.
just from the lack of knowledge i have seen in your posts i would have to say, stay away from it.
LACK OF KNOWLEDGE?
but i just posted now…
u will all see the story… posted here in pics…
Interested.
So your saying that they well drill out 5 holes on your stock hub? The toralance from center point better be close as possiable or you will have a hoping tires. I’m doing machine work myself. That will be hard to do with manuels machines. Best but would cnc new holes.
I think i my try this. I’m doing cnc stuff right now. Would be a nice little project!
the fact that you say 4 holes and 5 holes instead of lug insinuates that you have a lack of knowledge in the area.
instead of just hacking your car apart to make things fit, just do it right to begin with. you’ll appreciate it later
edit: and i thought the itr wheels were 16s
naw, my freind has a itr they are 15
You are trying to drill your current hubs to have holes for 5 hubs. one thing you are forgetting is that the 4 lug hub diameter is smaller then the 5 lug hub. If you are able to drill out the 5 holes in a 5X114.3 patter you will be very close to the
outside edge on the hub and it will not stand a lot of the forces that will be at play one the car is rolling
BTW: I’m on of the few people that has done the 5 lug conversion (the correct way) on a DA. All I can tell you is that sure the car stops a hell of a lot better but thats all you basically get besides the bling bling factor. I personally wish I had spent my money elsewhere.
jdm 5 lug itr = 16’
usdm 5 lug = 15’
I know there’s the hub conversion that is normally done, but I have seen the hubs redrilled being done all the time, and have not seen any problems YET Just my 2 cents.
why do it right when you can do it twice?
Yea!! Wait…
I see a future tread with this title " My hubs split in half what to do?"
I’ve seen vendors that sell the exact same replica of the ITR rims but in a 4 lug pattern. Get those and save yourself tons of cash and headaches down the road…
Save your time and money on cocklovin’, cum guzzling, anal penetratin’ slut whores!
i agree with hybrid… but yea get the 4 lug replicas. what ur talking about sounds fucking stupid. u wanna have a shop DRILL new holes into ur stock hub. that sounds :gay: (gay)
